Our Cowrie House Clearance team arrived at 09:00 AM on the day of the appointment in one of large luton furniture vans, fully uniformed undertaken the property clearance in under 2 hours total.
The house clearance requirements entailed clearing a one bedroom property situated within a residential shared accommodation complex on the 5Th floor. All contents were to be taken. No white goods included. All carpets and curtains were also required to be removed.
The following items were donated to local charities within the Cowrie area: a silver Steele tea pot, mug tree and kitchen roll holder, a 5 piece copper pan set, a wooden knife block containing 4 black handled knives, a silver Swan slow cooker, tea, coffee and sugar canisters, a wooden fruit bowl, a pack of wine glasses, a set of 8 tartan mugs (brand new), a tall white wicker laundry basket, clothing items and accessories, footwear, hats, backpacks, suitcases, umbrella’s, a collection of ties, a range of books, walking sticks, reading glasses, a collection of cricket bats, jigsaws, puzzles, board games, chess board, a card table, packs of playing cards.
The following items were recycled at a local waste transfer centre within the Cowrie area: kitchen contents, chopping boards, oven trays, used cutlery, cups and saucers, food waste, paper waste, plastic carrier bags, cardboard boxes, bathroom contents – toilet roll and holder, toiletry’s, bath mat, shower curtain, dirty laundry, dressing gown and slippers. ***All carpets, underlay and curtains were also disposed.
The following items were also donated to a local British Heart Foundation store within the Cowrie area: a circular glass coffee table, a glass corner TV unit, a brown oak book case, a set of two Bentwood rocking chairs, a double black metal bed frame, two solid pine wood bedside tables, a solid pine wood triple door wardrobe suite.
Towels, throws, cushions, bedding and blankets were also donated to a local Animal Shelter within the Cowrie area.
Various items were also donated to the Residential Home.
