A good Victorian brass tobacco jar of cylindrical design with cable moulded borders the pull off top finely engraved with triple blue enamel band centred on a pietra dura panel of flower heads and leafage, engraved detail. A pair of Victorian gilt metal and veined green marble table candlesticks the fluted nozzles with beaded borders and cast sconces the reeded and scaled drip pans above tapered columns with foliate cast tops and bases, leafy concave bases with beaded rims on circular black moulded pedestals. A late Victorian gilt tooled black leather writing case, the interior with rosewood pen depression and tray flanked by gilt tooled black leather ink and light wells with Berry’s patent openers, green velvet lined lid. A late Victorian brass and champlevé enamel chamberstick the shaped square base with onyx panel issuing an urnular nozzle with broad drip pan, tapered handle, decorated overall in red, turquoise, blue and yellow enamel with stylised leafage and strap work. A pair of Victorian bronze shallow campana shaped two handled urns, foliate and berry cast on waisted stems with palmette cast circular feet on waisted marble and black slate pedestals, incurved square bases. A Victorian desk stand inkwell the rectangular base foliate engraved with malachite and blood stone cabochons to the corners mounted with a begging dog, with hinged head revealing well. An interesting pair of Victorian oak armchairs in Jacobean style the cresting rails pierced with crowns and winged amorini above a vertical splat with upholstered centre panel flanked by pierced foliage and barley twist uprights, acanthus carved arms with conforming upholstered pads the seats conforming on block and barley turned legs, fitted castors.
