An 18th century German faience beer stein of cylindrical form, painted to the exterior with a horse in a rural setting enclosed within a foliate border, the hinged pewter cover modelled with a thumb lift in the form of an acorn.
A 19th Century Chinese cloisonné enamel ingot-shaped dish, the turquoise ground interior decorated with four shou characters within a surround of polychrome dragons, bats, fruit, flowers and scrolls, similarly decorated to the exterior.
